Our results showed that mRNA and protein levels of NLRP3, ASC and Caspase-1 in LPS-stimulated U937 cells as well as lung tissues of OVA-induced asthma mice were dramatically decreased after YPFS treatment, which suggested YPFS could inhibit the inflammatory response in OVA-induced asthma through suppressing the NLRP3 inflammasome. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and asthma.
