NLRP3 and asthma: Current research showed that Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain (NOD)-like receptor family pyrin domain-containing 3 (NLRP3), one of nucleotide-binding domain and leucine-rich repeat containing (NLR) family membranes, had a substantial impact on tissue inflammation including respiratory diseases like asthma and could aggravate the progress of asthma (Kufer and Sansonetti, 2011; Im and Ammit, 2014; Hosseinian et al., 2015).
