In order to better understand the potential involvement of leptin in the expression of adiponectin receptors, AdipoR1 and AdipoR2, in the cells of breast cancer, the main objective of this research was to demonstrate that AdipoR1 and AdipoR2 were expressed in MCF-7 and HCC1937 breast cancer cell lines, as well as to determine and analyze the expression of these receptors modulated by differential concentrations of leptin [27]. This evidence concerns the gene ADIPOR2 and breast cancer.
