ADIPOQ and breast carcinoma: Contrary to what is expected, a greater decrease of expression was found in concentrations corresponding to normal weight (10 ng/mL) and excess weight-obesity (100 ng/mL), which could indicate that in a condition of excess weight and obesity, there is a blockage in the expression of these receptors, which leads to adiponectin not being able to carry out its protective (antiproliferative) action during the development of breast cancer.
