Another putative KEAP1-NRF2-CUL3 gene, UCHL1 (ubiquitin C-terminal hydrolase L1), has also been implicated in different types of human cancer such as breast [48, 49], melanoma [50], ovarian [51], colorectal [52], osteosarcoma [53], and gastric [54, 55] cancers, and multiple myeloma [56]. The gene discussed is KEAP1; the disease is AL amyloidosis.
