The authors found a CD10 expression by the neoplastic cells in 12.5% (2/16 cases) of the basal-like group against only 3.6% (1/28 cases) for the other groups, suggesting that CD10 positive breast cancers arise from basal/myoepithelial cells which normally do not express hormone receptors. Here, NR4A1 is linked to breast cancer.
