The experimental results showed that: after CXCL12 gene silencing, compared with the untransfected and control siRNA groups and positive control β-actin (shown in Fig. 2a), the expressions of CXCL12 proteins in four colon cancer cells were significantly inhibited (P < 0.01, respectively, compared with the untransfected and control siRNA groups), and the experiment showed that CXCL12 siRNA primer design and cell transfection were successful (as shown in Fig. 2b).
