Of the 102 driver genes present in at least four networks (Fig. 3), we found that PSMA, PSMB, and PSMD were the cancer driver genes with a crucial role in the proteasome pathway (with also RPN1/2, PSMA3/5/6/7, PSMB2/3/4/8/9, PSMD2/3/4/7/11/12/14). The gene discussed is PSMA3; the disease is cancer.
