The third patient (UPN 1048, female, 50 years old, AML, FLT3 ITD, NPM1-positive) completed the induction and consolidation therapy but relapsed within 3 months with skin involvement, FLAG therapy failed, then sequential intensified double step chemotherapy (clofarabine then busulfan and cyclophosphamide [BuCy]) was employed and transplanted from a haploidentical donor. Here, FLT3 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
