TFPI2 and renal cell carcinoma: Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), an active and major constituent of green tea (Camellia sinensis), displays anti-tumor properties in several cancers, including RCC [29,30,31,32,33,34,35] and inhibits tumor growth and invasiveness in RCC by upregulating expression of TFPI-2 through inhibition of DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) activity [28].
