We also observed a similar trend of high CCT2 levels when cells like the immortalized lung cancer cell line, BEAS-2B (data not shown), and low passage, normal human bronchial epithelial (NHBE) or fibroblast cells (NHLF) (Supplementary Figure 5) were actively replicating in cell culture, likely due to the need for increased CCT client proteins like cyclins. Here, CCT2 is linked to lung carcinoma.
