(2015) [36] observed that AQR to BEZ235 in nasopharyngeal cancer cells was associated with increased DNA hypermethylation and suppression of PTEN and PPP2R2B expression, resulting in activation of the AKT/mTOR and PDK1/MYC pathways. The gene discussed is PTEN; the disease is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
