CASP3 and breast carcinoma: Elangovan et al. [24] documented that silencing AGER expression inhibited prostate tumor growth by activation of caspase-8 and caspase-3 death signaling and Radia et al. [16] reported that the blockage of AGER inhibited the proliferation of various subtypes of breast cancer via arresting cells in the G1 phase and inhibiting DNA synthesis.
