Benjamin et al. [18] reported better efficacy of first-line crizotinib treatment compared with pemetrexed-based chemotherapy (median PFS, 10.9 months vs. 7.0 months; ORR, 74.0% vs. 45.0%) in patients with advanced ALK-positive non-squamous NSCLC who had received no previous systemic treatment. This evidence concerns the gene ALK and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
