To examine whether NCOA5 takes participation in proliferation, migration and invasion of CRC cells via PI3K/AKT [11–13] and MAPK/ERK [13, 14] pathways, the expression of related molecules such as phosphorylated AKT and ERK1/2 (p-AKT and p-ERK1/2) and total AKT and ERK1/2 in NCOA5-silenced SW620 and NCOA5-overexpressed SW480 CRC cells were assessed by Western blot analysis. The gene discussed is MAPK3; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
