A recent work has suggested BARD1 as cancer-associated gene in ovarian cancer by a case-control association analysis between 1915 patients and Exome Sequencing Project (ESP, http://varianttools.sourceforge.net/Annotation/EVS) and Exome Aggregation Consortium (ExAC, http://exac.broadinstitute.org) controls [24].
