PKP2 and Left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy: Studies have also provided further evidence suggesting that PKP2 mutations may impact left ventricular cardiomyopathies (Horimoto et al. 2000; Hamid et al. 2002; Sen-Chowdhry et al. 2007; Saguner et al. 2015), including a recent case report that identified a pathogenic PKP2 deletion in two siblings with left ventricular noncompaction cardiomyopathy (Ramond et al. 2017).
