The WB results indicated that acute myocardial infarction caused by ligation of the left coronary artery induced an increase in cleaved caspase-9/procaspase-9 ratio (2.34 ± 0.17 versus 1.00) and cleaved caspase-3/procaspase-3 ratio (7.64 ± 0.77 versus 1.00) compared with SHAM group (Figure 4(c)). This evidence concerns the gene CASP9 and acute myocardial infarction.
