Alterations of these factors (for instance, RBM6, RBM10, and QKI) and of the Numb splicing machinery have been reported in human tumors (Misquitta-Ali et al., 2011; Bechara et al., 2013; Zhang et al., 2014; Zong et al., 2014), in particular in nonsmall cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC).
