Phenotype analysis of the tumour showed a smaller CD11b+ population derived from the tumour from ANXA1−/− mice (Fig. 6E), and in this CD11b+ population, CD206+ expression levels were similar while CD86+ expression was significantly higher in the ANXA1−/− mice group (Fig. 6F,G), suggesting that in the absence of ANXA1, the polarization of macrophages in the tumour are more skewed to M1-phenotype.
