AKT1 and amebiasis: Functional and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis revealed that genes in this module were mainly associated with protein digestion and absorption, sulfur metabolism, ECM-receptor interaction, amoebiasis, fatty acid degradation, fatty acid metabolism, focal adhesion, PPAR signaling pathway, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, platelet activation, alpha-Linolenic acid metabolism and biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids (Figure 2B).
