GPT and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: We observed more significant HRs of HCC for patients with a level of ALT > 40 U/L with NAFLD, liver cirrhosis, HBV and HCV infection, and any one of these CLDs than those of patients with a level of ALT ≤ 40 U/L and no counterpart comorbidity (4.89, 3.02–7.92; 18.53, 13.41–25.60; 8.47 5.39–13.30; 11.01, 7.51-16.13, and 14.36, 11.51–17.91, respectively).
