Previous studies reported that overexpression of EMT-related transcription factors, such as SNAIL [18], SLUG [19], TWIST1 [20], TWIST2 [21], ZEB1 [22], ZEB2 [23] PROX1 [24], FOXC2 [25], FOXQ1 [26], FOXC1 [27], and FOXM1 [28] are associated with invasiveness, metastasis, and poor prognosis of CRC. Here, FOXQ1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
