Recently, our group has identified three new E1A C-terminus binding partners; DREF that functions in innate immunity and whose SUMOylation is altered by E1A [9], Ku70 that appears to be important for the inhibition of the DNA damage response pathway during infection [10] and RuvBL1 that plays an important role in E1A-mediated suppression of type I interferon pathway [11]. This evidence concerns the gene RUVBL1 and infection.
