When PBMCs and gingival cells were treated with IL-2 and cultured for 7 days, there was a significant decrease in the percentages of DX5+ NK cells in both PBMCs and gingival cells of KC mice fed with HFCD followed by KC mice fed with CD and WT mice fed with HFCD as compared to WT mice fed with CD. This evidence concerns the gene IL2 and keratoconus.
