Overall, no significant correlation between the NQO1 C609T polymorphism and lung cancer risk was observed in any of the genetic models (TT vs. CC: OR = 0.91, 95% CI = 0.74–1.12; CT vs. CC: OR = 1.08, 95% CI = 0.98–1.22; TT vs. CT+CC: OR = 1.13, 95% CI = 0.97–1.33; T vs. C: OR = 1.09, 95% CI = 0.99–1.20; and CT+TT vs. CC: OR = 1.04, 95% CI = 0.94–1.16). This evidence concerns the gene NQO1 and lung carcinoma.
