PPARG and cancer: Overall, we found a significant association between PPARG c.1347C>T polymorphism and the increased risk of cancer (T vs. C: OR, 1.13; 95% CI, 1.03–1.23; P = 0.006; TT vs. CC: OR, 1.29; 95% CI, 1.07–1.56; P = 0.008, CT/TT vs. CC: OR, 1.11; 95% CI, 1.02–1.21; P = 0.014 and TT vs. CT/CC: OR, 1.26; 95% CI, 1.04–1.52; P = 0.016; Table 6 and Figure 2).
