IL-5 staining in epithelial cells was most intense in the IT (CRS) group (0.35±0.01) (Figure 2A), while in the non-eosinophilic NP (CRS) (0.24±0.02) and IT (CONTROL) (0.27±0.01) groups, there were fewer positive epithelial cells than in the IT (CRS) group. This evidence concerns the gene IL5 and congenital rubella syndrome.
