Finally, several of the novel c-Myc targets are interesting candidates for the development of molecularly targeted therapies, and this include inhibition of the highly up-regulated genes in lung cancer tissues such as Spint1, Ros1, Adora2b, Gjb3, amphiregulin and Adam19 which were also highly expressed in human tumor tissues as protein.
