This strategy might be the key for a future cure or long-term control of HNSCC, as shown by the recent results by Yoshitake Y. et al. [13], who reported a significant correlation between extended overall survival of HNSCC patients and the T-cell specific responses to two CTA, namely LY6K and CDCA1, following a peptide vaccine therapy in a Phase II clinical trial.
