IGF2 and hepatocellular carcinoma: Because P3 mRNA is the most abundant transcript of IGF-II gene [9, 10] and the regulation mechanism of its overexpression has not yet been well studied in HCC, the present study was done to explore the involvement of miR-483-5p, an intronic miRNA of IGF-II gene [16], in P3 mRNA overexpression regulation and its role in HCC.
