In bladder cancer cells, DAC treatment increased the double-stranded RNA sensors, MDA5, MAVS and RIG-1 (Fig. 2c–e), intermediate mediator IRF7, and downstream targets IFI44 and IFI27 and IFN-γ by 2-fold to 70-fold compared to control cells (Supplementary Fig. 4a–d). This evidence concerns the gene MAVS and urinary bladder cancer.
