Specifically, we sought to estimate differences in the expression of two suspected good prognosis genes (ACOX2 and MUC1) and six suspected poor prognosis genes (FAM177A1, GSTT2, PSPH, PSPHL, SQLE, and TYMS) by race, and to examine their associations with risk of breast cancer recurrence. This evidence concerns the gene TYMS and breast carcinoma.
