CDKN2BAS located in chromosome 9p21, a 3.8 kb long non-coding RNA(lncRNA) expressed in the opposite direction from INK4A-ARF-INK4B gene cluster, it is associated with a variety of human diseases, such as prostate cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, leukemia, glioma, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, diabetes and aneurysm [4, 5, 14, 16]. This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2A and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
