We measured serum autofluorescence and cfDNA fluorescence in HCC, LC and CH patients with abnormal serum AFP levels (>7 ng/ml) using a conventional real-time PCR system and evaluated the values of both types of serum fluorescence alone and combined with AFP, hepatic function tests and age for differentiating HCC from BLD. The gene discussed is AFP; the disease is cyclic hematopoiesis.
