Since we had found that LASP1 was a target gene of miR-29b in gastric cancer cells, we speculated that LASP1 might be involved in the miR-29b-mediated malignant phenotypes of gastric cancer cells, and our data confirmed this speculation that overexpression of LASP1 impaired the inhibitory effects of miR-29b on gastric cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene LASP1 and gastric cancer.
