Whilst we have not extensively examined the relative contributions of N-cadherin and mural cells to stabilization of the microvasculature in fs120 tumours in the current study, our data suggest that CA4P treatment disrupts N-cadherin adherens junctions as well as VE-cadherin, and that these junctions can also be protected by pre-treatment with S1P. This evidence concerns the gene CDH5 and neoplasm.
