PROM1 and glioma: Culture of three different glioma stem cells (GS-Y01, GS-Y03, and GS-NCC01) in the presence of CEP-1347 resulted in substantial declines in the proportion of cells expressing a stem cell marker CD133 on the cell surface, which was similarly observed when other CSCs such as pancreatic (PANC-1 CSLC) and ovarian (A2780 CSLC and TOV21G CSLC) CSCs were tested (Figure 1A).
