In this study, we demonstrate that betulinic acid (BA) suppresses AML cells through SOD2 suppression with subsequent ROS generation and AHR activation with subsequent HIF1α suppression; Chidamide (CDM) slightly suppresses AML cells through ROS generation and increased p300 acetylation with subsequent dissociation of p300 with HIF1α. The gene discussed is HIF1A; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
