XIST and urinary bladder carcinoma: Furthermore, we explored the biological roles of XIST in bladder cancer both in vitro and in vivo, and demonstrated that XIST functions as a sponge of miR-139-5p to regulate the expression of Wnt1 and activity of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, thus acting as an oncogene in pathogenesis of bladder cancer.
