There have been several reports that UCA1 affected AKT expression and the activity of the PI3K-Akt-mTOR signaling pathway in the progression of bladder carcinoma cells [41], prostate cancer [42], breast cancer [43] and non-small cell lung cancer [44], but similar studies of gastric cancer have not been reported. This evidence concerns the gene UCA1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
