CD4 and lymphatic system disorder: On the basis of this scoring strategy, AIM patients could be stratified into two groups, with severe-AIM patients having a significantly (Student t test) higher adenopathy score (6.5 ± 0.6 versus 3.3 ± 0.8; n = 15 or 16; P = 0.01) and percentage of atypical lymphocytes (44 ± 4.2 versus 23 ± 3.8; n = 15 or 16; P = 0.002) and a lower CD4/CD8 ratio (0.6 ± 0.08 versus 1.4 ± 0.1; n = 15 or 16; P = 0.001) than mild-AIM patients.
