Contrasting with the findings for bladder cancer, reduced GnT-III and increased GnT-V expressions have been found to promote metastasis in different cancer models [33-36] yet no consensus exists between GnT-V expression and prognosis in gastric [35, 36], oral squamous cell [37] and endometrial cancers [38]. This evidence concerns the gene MGAT5 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
