Recent studies have indicated that TXNDC5 is overexpressed in tumor tissues from patients with breast invasive ductal carcinoma, cervical squamous cell carcinoma, colorectal adenoma, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, non-small cell lung carcinoma, ovarian papillary serous carcinoma, prostate cancer and adrenal cell carcinoma [15–23]. This evidence concerns the gene TXNDC5 and gastric carcinoma.
