Flow-cytometric analysis of KC patients showed considerably higher TH1 (IFN-γ, 10.94 ± 1.81%), TH2 (IL-4, 10.72 ± 2.79% , and  IL-5, 11.09 ± 4.17%), and TH17 (IL-17A, 7.11 ± 2.12%; p = 0.0001) cells and also gave some representative fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) plots (Figure 2). The gene discussed is IFNG; the disease is keratoconus.
