Our data demonstrated that Rg1 treatment could improve depression-like behavior and memory impairment of the 3xTg-AD mice, but its effect on anxiety-like behavior was not obvious, which were consistent with the previous data showing that Rg1 treatment did not produce significant effects on anxiety-like behavior in APP/V7171 transgenic mice bearing the “London” mutant of APP [37, 38], which displayed obvious cognitive impairment and neuroinflammation associated with pathological features of AD. This evidence concerns the gene APP and Alzheimer disease.
