Among melanoma patients containing concurrently BRAF V600E mutation and EZH2 gain, the percentages of patients with stages I, II, III and IV were 10% (four cases), 12.5% (five cases), 42.5% (17 cases), and 35.0% (14 cases), respectively (P = 0.071); these data were not significantly different from those in patients without EZH2 gain. The gene discussed is BRAF; the disease is melanoma.
