Overexpression of protein COX-2 was found in approximately 50% of adenomas and 85% of adenocarcinomas [37] and is associated with worse survival among CRC patients [38], so we speculate that O-TFDG might exert some of their anti-inflammatory and antitumor effects by inhibiting iNOS and COX-2 expression.
