To summarize, our study analyzed the expression of IL-32 and its binding receptor PR3 in MM BM, and demonstrated that in the MM BM microenvironment, IL-32 induces production of IL-6 in BMSCs by activating the NF-κB and STAT3 signaling pathways, thus promoting the proliferation of MM cells (Figure 8). This evidence concerns the gene STAT3 and Miyoshi myopathy.
