BLCAP and cervical carcinoma: Over-expression of BLCAP in human TC-135 Ewing’s sarcoma cells, Tca8113 tongue carcinoma cells, and HeLa cervical cancer cells can inhibit cell growth and induce apoptosis [4, 8, 9], suggesting that Blcap may regulate cancer cell proliferation and survival, and play a role in cellular carcinogenesis.
