High CDX2 level in different mean-age subgroups also suggested a better 5-year OS for cancer patients with a mean age that either was < 60 (OR: 0.32, 95%CI: [0.18,0.56], P < 0.0001, I2 = 41%), between 60 and < 65 (OR: 0.26, 95%CI: [0.18,0.37], P < 0.00001, I2 = 42%), > 65 (OR: 0.09, 95%CI: [0.03,0.26], P < 0.0001, I2 = 10%) or unknown (OR: 0.47, 95%CI: [0.28,0.78], P = 0.003, I2 = 69%) (Supplementary Figure 1).
