Consistent with a previous report [15], overexpression of ZNF281 indeed promoted the proliferation, migration and invasion of CRC cells while transfection of β-TrCP2, not β-TrCP1, significantly inhibited ZNF281-induced CRC cell proliferation, migration and invasion (Figure 2A and 2B), suggesting that only β-TrCP2 is an upstream regulator of ZNF281.
